Senate's Berryman Cartoons Exhibited

The U.S. Senate preserves a gathering of over 2,000 creative drawings by renowned political cartoonist Clifford Berryman (1869-1949). Forty-four of these cartoons are featured in "Running for Office: Candidates, Campaigns, and the Cartoons of Clifford Berryman," an exhibition in the Lawrence F. O'Brien Gallery, National Archives Building, Washington, DC. The exhibit is release to the public from February 8 to August 16, 2008.

Duong's works are exclusive combinations of painting and photography.Through the paintings, visitors can be awake of the humanity of moment and theaspiration to capture the transient of the author.

Duong Thuy Duong was born in 1979 in Hanoi. She studied at the fashion design faculty of the Hanoi University of industrialized Fine Arts before studying painting in Germany's Burg Giebichenstein University.
