Wladyslaw Wankie (born 1860 in Warsaw, died. 1925, ibid.) - Polish painter and art critic. He painted realistic landscapes, genre scenes, religious and symbolic. He was a co-author of the Tatra Mountains panorama.

Initially, the artist painted naive and sentimental genre scenes depicting beautiful women in the company of men in the flower-filled gardens. These images formed on the demand of the German market characterized by refined, rich colors
