LADY WITH AN ERMINE:
This masterpiece was created by Leonardo da Vinci. This painting is currently displayed in the Wawel Royal Castle in Kraków, Poland. The painting was bought in 2016 by the PolishMinistry of Culture and National Heritage from the Czartoryski Foundation for the National Museum in Kraków and is soon to be moved to the museum's main building. The painting was one among the four portraits of women by Leonardo da Vinci.

LADY WITH AN ERMINE

The painting depicts a young lady whose position is neither looking at the viewer nor straight ahead but at a third party. The clothing of the woman is simple which again depicts that she is not a noblewoman. In her hand is a small white-coated stoat whose name is Ermine.
