January Suchodolski

January Suchodolski (September 19, 1797 in Grodno – March 20, 1875 in Boimie near Siedlce) was a Polish painter and Army officer. Suchodolski was the brother of Rajnold.

Suchodolski was educated in Rome from 1832 until 1837, where he was student of Horace Vernet. He became known for his history and battle paintings.
