Peter Max Peter Max (born October 19, 1937) is an American Pop artist. He was born in Berlin, Germany and raised in Shanghai, China and in Israel before his family settled in the United States in 1953. Max trained in New York the Art Students League, Pratt Institute, and the School of Visual Arts. After completing his studies, Max opened a design studio and gained success as a designer for books, posters and products. Max closed his studio in 1964 and began making his signature colorful silkscreens.
The paintings are the excellent portrayal of the events and scenes
that we see around us. The painters are the best cameras of the
world. They reproduce many different types of pictures. They even
draw imaginary pictures that do not exist in this world. We tend
to use both thinned oil paints and dense oil paints. Masterpieces
can be dyed more than once, but each time it may be different from
