Pietro Lorenzetti
Pietro Lorenzetti (or Pietro Laurati) (c. 1280 - 1348) was a Sienese
painter.
Lorenzetti was active between approximately 1306 and 1345. He was
born and died in Siena. He was influenced by Giovanni Pisano. He
and his brother, Ambrogio Lorenzetti, helped introduce naturalism
into Sienese art. In their artistry work and experiments with three-dimensional
and spatial arrangements, they foreshadowed the art of the Renaissance.
Many of his religious works are in churches in Siena.
The paintings are the excellent portrayal of the events and scenes
that we see around us. The painters are the best cameras of the
world. They reproduce many different types of pictures. They even
draw imaginary pictures that do not exist in this world. We tend
to use both thinned oil paints and dense oil paints. Masterpieces
can be dyed more than once, but each time it may be different from
the existing paintings.h
